I’m currently pursuing my Masters' studies at Columbia University to become a Robotics Engineer. Robotics is a field that I believe to be at the forefront of technologies having the potential to transform the 21st century. As an engineer and as someone who is passionate about powerful technologies, my goal is to tackle some of the world’s problems through innovative robotic solutions.
During my internships at Purdue University and the University of tor Vergata, I gained experience in 3D modeling, performing FEA analysis, and designing control systems in the areas of soft robotics and rehabilitation robotics. These projects helped me contribute to solving problems in robotic grasping and provide rehabilitation for ankle injuries respectively. With this experience in hand, I’m looking forward to integrating other aspects of science and engineering with robotics.
In today’s data-driven world, robots are made to learn and predict actions using concepts from Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. This has paved the way for various technologies like self-driving cars, autonomous warehouse robots, delivery robots, human-robot interaction, etc. I wish to be a part of such cutting-edge advancements and provide impacting contributions.
